Well built sturdy and large. Cleaned up our 4000 gallon pond pretty well but we did a bunch of other things at the same time so it can’t take all the credit though I am pretty sure it helped a lot. Fittings did not leak at all and easy enough to pick the tubing size and cut off the fittings to match the tubing. No going smaller once you go large as you cut the ends off the tapered fitting. Directions say keep it out of direct sun and ours was in the sun and was baking hot so the metal must absorb the rays. Mount horizontal per the instructions. I suggest putting the out bound side uphill to avoid any trapped air on the UV element but with good flow it should not matter. Also suggest hooking the UV and its associated pump to the same switched outlet so they always are running together and it never runs dry. [...]
