30 Pound Black Powder Coated Cast Iron Umbrella Stand

When shopping for a new base I considered material, weight, design etc and settled on this one. When it arrived it was beautiful and I was so excited!….until I went to place it under my table. It’s too TALL!!. The metal bracing under the table (with the SECOND hole that the umbrella goes through before entering the base tube) should sit OVER the top of this stand. And if it rests on the tube, my table legs don’t touch the ground. Nowhere in this description did I see anything mentioned about height. I just assumed all of this kind of stuff was standard but to my surprise it’s not not, so buyer beware. I am now trying to locate a shorter tube. Apparently 12″ and 9″ are the norms and I need a 9 incher. I have a 12. Total height floor to the top of the tube is about 15 1/4″.
