Ozark Trail 11 inch 7Cr17MoV Fixed Blade Knife Full Tang G10 and Micarta Handle for Camping Outdoors

I am a hunter and a camper. I actually use equipment that I buy and have been known to throw away good stuff that did not work in the field. I am not a brutal tester, putting knives or axes or stoves through trials that would never happen in the field. All that being said, I loved this knife and it sliced my steak as well as skinned my deer. It held an edge it fit my hand well, I was suspicious of the general shape of the knife, but found it a good fit for what I used it for. I bought two and gave one to my grandson who really doesn’t appreciate a good knife, but I noticed his knife on his hip the last two times that we went woods walking. He filleted a trout with his knife and it actually worked well, and I suspect it was because I had sharpened the knife, it is not intended for such use as a thin narrow blade works best.
