This is an excellent tool (toy?) if you’re doing batter things onto the griddle, the waffle iron, or even the deep-fryer! I got so enthusiastic I made about three breakfast’s worth of pancakes because I was having so much fun making them!Simple to set up and assemble this, just add the handle (it takes a moment to align the curves, but then it goes together easily) and place it on its base! I? put down a folded paper towel underneath and it got a few drips, but a lot less than I was expecting! I didn’t need the paper towel the next time, i just needed to give the dispenser a couple seconds in case it needed to let go of a drip before putting it back on its base after using it.Washing it was the hardest part – I used a bottle brush to get down at the tip of the cone – but even that didn’t present a substantial challenge. If the spring-loaded plunger assembly was removeable it’d be a little easier, but even as is, it’s pretty easy.Pancakes, waffles, funnel cakes, takoyaki, etc., – lots of ways to make this work for you. And it’s so fun to use! Oh, and if you wanted to make art with your pancakes – I’ve certainly seen some cool videos where an artistic parent is making faces, or TV show characters, or landscapes, on the underside of the pancakes — this is a super easy way to make that happen!
