I ordered this set primarily for the small towel ring, as it was the only thing lacking from my bathroom. I was a little disappointed when it arrived, to find that the towel ring is not articulated, but just one solid piece that can’t move. It seems to me that it takes up a lot of vertical space for what amounts to a single rigid bar, and if it doesn’t have the advantage of pulling out from the wall, then it might as well be a single bar.Installing it was easy enough, although the included instructions were minimalistic, and the pictures weren’t very accurate. If you lack the confidence or experience hanging hardware around the home, you might want to get someone who can help, because the instructions sure won’t! I was able to handle installation without minimal difficulty, although I initially drilled the holes too small (to fit the drywall anchors, you need to make a 1/4-inch hole) and broke the drywall anchor trying to hammer it in.Quality-wise, the pieces all look good, and I didn’t notice any flaws. They go well with other black matte fixtures I’ve installed around my bathroom.The included drywall anchors are quite fragile compared to others I’ve seen, and the kit only includes exactly as many anchors and screws as you will need to install everything in the set, so you can’t afford to make a mistake.I will not be installing the large towel bar, because I already have one that’s slightly longer, but I do appreciate that this one is one long piece, unlike some others that have an obvious join in the center. Later, I might put the individual towel hooks on the back of my bathroom door, and I will update my review if I have anything to say about those.
